Questions

Do I need new wiring for smart lighting?

Not for wireless systems such as Casambi, Zigbee or Bluetooth — they use the normal power wiring. DALI needs an extra pair of control wires, best planned at the design stage.

Can I control the lights without a phone?

Yes. Scenes can be set on wall keypads and switches, and sensors and schedules work on their own.

Which system should I choose?

Casambi suits most homes, shops and retrofits; DALI suits large or commercial projects; Zigbee suits smart homes with an existing hub. We will recommend one for your project.

Can smart lighting be added later?

Choose smart-ready fixtures now, and controls can be added or expanded later.
